Dear Users,
Gigabrain is going a new direction
We built Gigabrain to help people find real answers from real people across the internet. We saw sites like Reddit and YouTube filled with poorly organized niche discussions that were nearly impossible to search effectively. So we used our expertise in AI to index these forums better than anyone.
Thanks to you all, over 2 million people have used thegigabrain.com to search!
But that success has led us to an unexpected crossroads. Reddit recently launched their own "Reddit Answers" feature with similar functionality to what we built, and they've decided to discontinue our data access. We understand that platforms need to protect their ecosystems, but it does mean Gigabrain search will be shutting down next week.
Here's the thing though: while we were building Gigabrain, we were also working on something bigger—something that can't be shut down by a platform policy change.
